We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a part-time supervisor for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) providing in-home therapy services.
This is a great opportunity for a clinician who enjoys mentoring and guiding others while ensuring high-quality care for clients.
Position Overview
As an SLP Supervisor, you will provide clinical oversight and support to an SLPA, ensuring they deliver effective and compliant speech and language therapy services in clients’ homes.
Your role will include signing off on notes, providing feedback, observing therapy sessions which can be done remotely, and maintaining the standard of care for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision & Guidance : Provide clinical oversight to SLPAs, ensuring effective, evidence-based therapy is being delivered in home settings.
- Treatment Plan Review : Approve and review progress reports, ensuring they meet clinical standards.
- Mentorship : Offer ongoing feedback, training, and support to SLPAs to ensure their professional growth and effective patient care.
- Compliance : Ensure that all services provided are in line with state and organizational regulations and requirements.
- Family Communication : Support the SLPA on ways to collaborate and work with families to provide updates on patient progress and address any concerns.
- Conduct consultations
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current and valid SLP license in California.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
