We are currently seeking candidates for Shipping Supervisor at our North American Chemical Distribution Center located in Irving, Texas.
Summary
Reporting to the Distribution Center Manager, the Shipping Supervisor will be a Proven Leader who is responsible for the accurate and timely shipment of customer orders and picking fulfillment of Customer orders.

Description : Directs, controls and coordinates daily activities of shipping and Inventory Control associates to ensure that all customer, company, federal, state, site requirements are consistently met.
Maintains employee’s performance records and compiles departmental reports
Responsibilities :
Supervise Customer shipping and Inventory Control Associates and processes (timecards, disciplinary, etc.)
Oversee Inventory Control Function at Distribution Center
Supervise order pulling and freight checking
Maintain and understand department costs
Requirements :
1 to 5 years of supervisory experience.
Experience with shipping receiving environment.
High level of decision making and problem solving
Computer literate and experienced in using ERP software (Oracle).
