The Job
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for a Radiologic Technologist III who will function in a lead capacity and perform radiologic procedures employing the use of x-rays to produce images of various parts of the body for the diagnosis of pathological and traumatic disorders.
They also plan, schedule, assign, and review the performances of Radiologic Technologist I and II staff.

ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public / nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission.
The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center.
Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Shift Availability : ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility;applicants must indicate their shift availability in the Supplemental Questionnaire of the application.
Shift differentials are provided.
Pre-Employment Process : Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical and verification of employment history and education.
Licensed / Certifications : Incumbents must posses and maintain all licenses required by their classification per the minimum requirements below and per regulations applicable to their classifications and specialty assignments.
Must obtain a State Fluro license within 6 months of hire date.

Minimum Requirements
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS & LICENSES
- State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist Certification
- Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Health Association
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Three (3) years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care setting.
- Completion of the ARMC Radiologic Technology Program and two (2) years of experience in a hospital or medical institution as a registered x-ray technologist (post certificate).
Desired Qualifications
One (1) year of experience as a Lead Radiologic Technologist or Supervising Technologist is highly desirable.
