Description

We are seeking a skilled Standing Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a standing forklift to move materials throughout our facility.

This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Safely operate a standing forklift to transport materials to and from designated areas within the facility.
• Load and unload pallets.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support operational needs.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience operating a standing forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices related to forklift operation.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, sometimes in awkward or confined spaces.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Requirements

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods.
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, stoop, and reach to access materials and equipment.
• Ability to operate a forklift in various weather conditions and temperature extremes.

Compensation is based on level of experience, including education, years of experience compared to requirement, food manufacturing industry experience.
