We are seeking a highly skilled Truss Designer to join our client’s dynamic team. If you are passionate about construction, possess a strong attention to detail, and have experience in truss design, we want to hear from you!
KEY RESPONSIBILITES :
- Utilize advanced software and tools to design and draft truss systems
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings to develop truss designs that comply with industry standards and local building codes
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and constraints
- Perform load calculations to ensure truss systems can withstand anticipated stresses
- Generate detailed truss layout drawings, including specifications and materials lists
- Review and revise designs based on feedback from project stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all truss designs
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to truss design
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Truss Designer in the construction industry
- Proficiency in truss design software
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines
