Job Description

Join part of the Supply Chain Center of Excellence & Analytics responsible for advancing Supply Chain process improvements across the entire Fortune Brands Innovations organization.

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Process Advancement , the Supply Chain Project Manager will be part of a strategic initiative in implementing Demand Driven Planning across Fortune Brands Innovations, using leading, cutting-edge supply planning tools.

Location and Status : This is a full time hybrid position requiring in-office presence 3 days per week (Tue, Wed, Thu) with the ability to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.

The successful candidate must live within a commutable distance to one of the following office locations :

  • Milwaukee / Oak Creek, WI
  • Toledo / Maumee, OH
  • Cleveland / North Olmsted, OH

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional, enterprise-wide initiatives to improve customer experience, costs, and inventory productivity.
  • Be accountable for delivering initiatives on-time, on-budget, and with desired business outcomes.
  • Build and execute change management and project management plans (including resource needs and risk management).
  • Utilize the Six Sigma DMAIC methodology as the over-arching process by which initiatives will be managed.
  • Employ analytics to quantify the value creation opportunity and as part of the solution set and controls as needed.
  • Build the business case that will secure executive sponsorship, funding, and people resources.
  • Create and present effective and insightful executive level project updates on a regular basis.
  • Professionally challenge current and / or traditional ways of thinking and create new approaches that will improve business outcomes.
  • Educate and influence key stakeholders on new approaches of analyzing and managing the end-to-end supply chain.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
  • 5 + years of relevant supply chain experience in roles of increasing responsibility to include : Experience in supply chain end-to-end processes including demand planning, supply planning, and / or logistics is required.

Experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives following a formal project management methodology (including tools and techniques) and / or Six Sigma DMAIC discipline is preferred.

  • Global experience as well as experience operating in an ERP environment (SAP or Oracle) is preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering results.
  • Supply Chain and Six Sigma expertise gained through training, certification, and / or industry associations is preferred (e.

g., APICS CSCP, edX courses, Green Belt certification).

  • Strong Ability to analyze data for root cause analysis and metrics.
  • Skillful in building valued partnerships with stakeholders, communicating and influencing effectively across all levels of an organization, leading change, collaborating and working cross-functionally, facilitating workshops, applying emotional intelligence, and employing analytics.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Experience using ADKAR Change Management methodology and DDI certification are preferred.
