Red Hat’s Global Financial Services team is looking for a highly motivated, self-directed and hands-on technologist to architect solutions that solve strategic challenges using Red Hat technology.
The successful candidate will help define and own go-to-market pursuits in areas such as capital markets, asset / wealth management, banking, payments and insurance.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal (sales, consulting, marketing and engineering) and external (ISVs and GSIs) stakeholders to drive projects to a successful completion.
Experience working at a global financial institution or serving one is important.
This position requires some international travel and is fully remote. Proximity to a US financial center is important.
What You Will Do
Collaborate with our customers and partners to solve strategic challenges for our financial service clients
Architect scalable, resilient, and compliant solutions using Red Hat technologies and be able to quantify the business value
Stay abreast of industry trends and regulation and clearly articulate the relevance to Red Hat
Deliver successful discovery, analysis, and design workshops for technical and non-technical audiences that shape the customer use cases and architecture design decisions
Work with our engineering, product, marketing, consulting and sales teams to architect solutions and build pipeline
Represent Red Hat at client / partner meetings and industry events as well as social media
Participate in open source communities
What You Will Bring
10+ years of experience working at a Tier 1 financial institution or architecting solutions for global financial institutions
Visionary and deeply aware of new technologies and how they can benefit financial institutions
Deep understanding of the operating environment of a global financial institution
Extensive knowledge of financial technology and the lifecycle of financial technology in a global institution
Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) including experience presenting to C-level executives and speaking in large, public settings
Familiarity with AI / ML including LLMs, generative AI, predictive AI and MLOps
Desire for Red Hat and industry certifications
Strong commitment to customer success
Insurance industry experience is a plus
The salary range for this position is $218,710.00 - $360,830.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation).
Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity.
Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and / or equity.
For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
