Under the general supervision of the Lead Vascular Technologist, performs various types of non-invasive vascular testing.
Must have knowledge of regulations governing vascular technology and function within the legal boundaries of vascular technology practice in an IAC accredited laboratory.
Required Skills / Qualifications / Training / Experience :
- Minimum 1-2 years of vascular technologist experience
- Must be able to perform all vascular modalities
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, customer service and organizational skills
Preferred Skills / Qualifications / Training / Experience :
- Previous experience with Cerner a plus
- Custom Lab (Software for IAC Accreditation)
Educational Requirements : Completion of an accredited ultrasound school with a focus on vascular technology, and / or on-site apprenticeship with a vascular laboratory
License / Certification : Must be a registered RVT (ARDMS), RVS from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or CRV (CARDUP Canadian equivalent)
