A Waste and Recycling company in Pompano Beach is seeking a skilled Tire Technician for their team in Pompano Beach. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform service calls for trucks on the road, ensuring the proper maintenance and functionality of their tires.
Responsibilities : *Performing Service calls on broken down company trucks on the road*Removing and replacing mounted tires based on driver reports *Patching Tires and performing tire changes on trucks on the road.
- Performing monthly tire tread / PSI audits*Cleaning and maintaining service equipment *Performing a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting*Must comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements Requirements : *Demonstrated experience in handling, patching, and changing commercial truck tires*Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to efficiently perform tire-related tasks*Experience in troubleshooting and resolving tire-related problems efficiently*Effective communication skills to interact with drivers, colleagues, and managementThis position includes a full benefits package including 401k, Dental, Retirement, etc.
