- The Strategy, Data and Analytics (SDA) organization provides data and analytics support across all business units, enabling them to make the best decisions regarding the firm and most importantly, our clients.
- SDA truly plays an integral part in ensuring client continued success as one of the leading financial service firms.
- Data & Analytics Strategy & Implementation Program (DASIP) has been established, primarily to deliver and a strategy and roadmap that further enables data & analytics across Schwab, fostering a data-driven culture, enabling self-service and optimizing human capital.
- First focus is on establishing the scope of work through evaluating current state strengths and opportunities, and articulating a target-state vision that leads to a longer term (3-year) implementation roadmap.
- There is a peak of work needed over the next 6-9 months as the program gets established across both the Operating Model and Ecosystem workstreams.
- Support is needed to facilitate working sessions, capture and synthesizing Current State Assessments, drafting content for Requirements and Design deliverables, socialize findings / designs and gaining agreements.
- There are quick wins to be achieve through better documentation and training of current processes, then streaming initial content into the Talent Enablement workstream.
What you'll do :
The DASIP Training Development Manager will...
- Work into the Director, Data Concumptions Enbablement (aka Tools) team and DASIP Ecosystem workstream lead.
- Lead on the development of training and technical content that will allow analytics users and developers to better learn our tools and ecosystem, apply best practices, reference how-to's and enable self-service.
- Work with our various subject matter experts across DCE and the wider program to capture content and make it available in easily digestable formats for wider consumption.
- Build the content in way that is easily findable for our users and easily maintainable and changeable for our product managers going forward.
- Collaborate with other Learning Development Managers in order to exploit existing capabilities and align with the Schwab and SDA Talent Enablement methods.
Qualifications :
- Experience in training and technical documentation development.
- Experience facilitcating knowledge capture sessions.
- Experience in Microsoft 365 tools, particularly PowerPoint and web-based collaborative platforms like Teams and Sharepoint.
- Experience in creating recorded training videos material for reuse and wide consumption.
- Ideally, some experience in data, reporting and business intelligence tools - i.e. the data and analytics field that we work in.
A proven track record of delivery, ability to manage to a plan.
