We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Receiving Inspector / General Shop Support to join our team with solid experience in inventory management.
In this role, you’ll receive, inspect, and organize materials, ensure everything lines up with purchase orders, and catch any issues like damage or counterfeit goods.
We want someone with sharp critical thinking skills who can take initiative, follow general guidance, and ask insightful questions.
You’ll also handle shipping, packaging, labeling, assembling racks, and keeping the shop clean and efficient. Forklift certification and basic computer skills for managing inventory transactions are required.
What you'll do :
- 5+ years of experience in receiving, inventory management, and general shop support
- Receiving and inspecting incoming goods to ensure they match purchase orders
- Shipping, including packaging and labeling materials for outgoing orders
- Inspecting received goods for damage, quality issues, or counterfeit items
- Labeling materials for easy identification and traceability
- Assembling storage racks and organizing materials efficiently
- Cleaning and organizing the shop to maintain a safe and productive environment
- Managing inventory transactions using basic computer skills
- Packaging goods for shipping to prevent damage during transit
- Forklift certified or willing to get certified
What you'll bring :
- Receiving Inspection experience - able to compare packing slips to PO documentation. Inspect for damaged and counterfeit material
- Critical thinking - able to take loose direction, take action, and ask good questions
- Good communicator - excellent spoken and reading ability
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with inventory management systems and data entry
- Certified forklift driver - or willing to get certification
