About the Role :
Join our team at Habitat Housewares at the Dimond Mall working with and amazing group of employees, high-quality products and amazing customers who are passionate about cooking and entertaining.
In this role your responsibilities will be :
- Assist customers in finding the perfect gourmet appliances and cookware for their needs
- Provide product demonstrations and answer any questions about our premium products
- Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Process customer transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends
Requirements :
- Prior retail or sales experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Knowledge of gourmet cooking and small kitchen electrics, tools and cookware is a plus
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy items as needed
