Summary of Position Responsibility :

Reporting to the Director / Head of Global Procurement, this role will support the development and application of analytical models required to support the Procurement Organization in connection with researching, organizing, compiling, analyzing, tracking, and reporting information and data.

This position works across the organization as a key contributor to strategy development and execution, Global Procurement Value Delivery Tracking, Index Pricing tracking and reporting.

The Data Analytics Manager will focus on category spend analytics, supporting budgeting and standard cost process with Finance, data collection, material savings and cost reductions, and Master Data Clean-up and Governance.

This role is responsible for enhancing current tools which drive efficient work processes and raw material utilization for our global sourcing operation partners.

This is a role which works with multiple cross-functional groups across Velcro Companies including Engineering, Supply chain, Finance, Operations, IT and manufacturing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :

Dashboard Development :

Design, develop, and maintain procurement dashboards to provide visibility into procurement performance and value delivery.

Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and meet the needs of various stakeholders within the Global Procurement and finance teams.

Savings Validation :

Collaborate with finance to validate and track procurement savings and cost avoidance initiatives.

Ensure that savings are accurately reported and aligned with organizational financial goals.

Data Collection and Analysis :

Work with procurement teams to collect, clean, and analyze data related to procurement activities and supplier performance.

Identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for improvement based on data analysis.

Analyzing key market data, statistics, and reports to help deepen the understanding of material cost drivers, performance, industry dynamics, market trends, and best practices.

Standardization :

Coordinate with regional procurement teams to standardize data collection and reporting processes.

Develop and implement best practices for tracking and reporting procurement savings projects across regions.

Master Data Clean-Up :

Lead the Supplier Master Data (SMD) Team to create and maintain a single, accurate, and reliable source of information about all Velcro company's suppliers .

Create, review and update global strategy, guidelines and processes to maintain accurate supplier master data within ERP systems.

Train SMD analysts and additional stakeholders.

Identify, prioritize, and supervise master data clean-up activities.

Ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of data used for procurement activities and reporting.

Strategic Support :

Support procurement strategic initiatives (Such as Working Capital Improvement, Supplier Risk Management, etc.) by providing data-driven insights and analysis.

Assist in the development of procurement strategies and plans based on data analysis and market trends.

Lead the raw material budget creation process, in collaboration with FP&A

Reporting :

Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to provide insights into procurement performance and value delivery.

Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.

Collaboration :

Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, supply chain, and regional procurement teams to ensure alignment on procurement goals and strategies.

Act as a liaison between procurement and IT to ensure the effective use of data analytics tools and systems.

Other duties may be assigned or required for the performance of this position.

Knowledge & Experience (Minimum Job Qualifications) :

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field.

Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in procurement, data analytics or related field. Experience in a Global procurement function is a plus.

Proficiency in data analytics tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel). Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

Applying analytical models and principles of data science including data, reporting and process automation and implementation.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data in a clear and concise manner.

Strong presentation skills, building operational reports, queries, and creating charts and visualizations from data including using PowerPoint.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders across different geographical regions.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Highly motivated and results oriented.

Remote US position; preferably residing in eastern / central US within commuting distance of major airport.

Ability to travel domestically or international; 10% of the time.
