HoneywellAdvanced Connected Solutions Technology (ACST) team is seeking a highlyqualified Senior Procurement Buyer for our Chandler, AZ, Golden Valley, MN orAlbuquerque, NM locational You will be responsible for procurementprocess for commercial and Government Buying including quotations,negotiations, order placement, material and service tracking, and problemresolution.

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Establish and drive procurement of material and services in support ofbusiness requirements
  • Experience with US Government purchasing procedures and practices
  • Procurement activities including RFQ processes, supplier selection, purchaseorder placement, monitoring shipment and services and supplier performance
  • Act as main point of contact for suppliers
  • Work with internal team on requirements, need dates and work to supportprojects and businesses
  • Ensure that the suppliers are acknowledging orders immediately and accuratelywithin established lead-times

Theannual base salary for this position is $75,000.00 - $113,000.00 Please notethat this salary information serves as a general guideline.

CITIZENSHIPREQUIREMENTS

U.S. Citizenship is required due contractual requirements.

Theapplication period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job postingdate; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needsand the availability of qualified candidates.

YOUMUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's Degree or 5 plus years of procurement experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Systems Applications and Products in DataProcessing (SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Due to U.S. export control laws, must be a U.S. citizen with ability toobtain and maintain security clearance

WE VALUE

  • Minimum of 5 years of FAR Part 15 Government Buying experience
  • Bachelor's Degree BS or BA, preferably in Business Administration, SupplyChain Management, Contract Administration.
  • Experience with subcontract compliance with Public Laws, Policies, FederalAcquisition Regulations (FAR / DFAR), and ITAR and import / export requirements.
  • Experience in leading formal negotiations (price, schedule and supplierexceptions to contractual flow down requirements, as well as standard Terms andConditions)
  • Ability to prepare and issue RFQs (requests for quotes) to suppliers,follow-up to assure understanding.
  • Review quotes, analyze results and determine negotiation plans / strategiesas well as addressing any exceptions to flow downs, specifications, qualitynotes or Honeywell terms and conditions requirements.
  • Expedite orders when required to ensure on-time shipments.
  • Able to quickly understand processes and ensure adherence to the same.
  • Must be able to deploy a systematic approach to work and must have anaptitude for performing work functions in a timely and well-organized mannerwith limited oversight.
  • Adapt to constantly changing work assignments, consistently make timelydecisions while balancing conflicting goals with decisiveness in an ambiguousenvironment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomously driven, and demandingstart-up-like atmosphere.
  • Participation in a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely conveys subtle or complex messages to avariety of audiences, both written and verbal.
