Residential Supervisor - 3rd Shift - 12 am to 8 am

Responsibilities :
- Adhere strictly to Doors to Freedom’s Policies and Procedures as outlined in the Resident’s Manual to ensure consistency and quality of care.
- Guide residents in adhering to the daily schedule and oversee their completion of tasks and chores to support their progress and development.
- Engage intentionally with residents based on their individual goals as documented in the Resident’s Daily Progress Notes and Line of Sight RES02 .
- Administer prescribed medication to residents at scheduled times and provide over-the-counter medication as needed to ensure their well-being.
- Supervise and ensure the completion of scheduled meal preparation and cleanup to maintain a clean and organized living environment.
- Complete the Resident’s Daily Progress Note and Line of Sight RES02 for every resident during each shift, ensuring all sections are accurately filled out by staff.
- Document Contact Notes PRG01 as necessary for phone calls, incidents, or important conversations to maintain clear communication records.
- Fill out Behavior Incident Reports PRG16 when needed for any violations committed by residents during the shift to track and address behavioral issues.
- Report any injuries, offenses, or incidents occurring during the shift to the On-Call Director promptly to ensure appropriate action is taken.
- Enforce Doors to Freedom’s Policies as detailed in the Resident Manual and Staff Training Manual to uphold organizational standards.
- Maintain awareness and respect for residents’ diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds to provide inclusive and sensitive care.
- Provide transportation for residents to appointments as required, ensuring they can access necessary services (mileage reimbursement may be applicable).
- Participate in Doors to Freedom’s Inclement Weather and Disaster Plan by following assignments from the Executive Director or Operations Director to ensure resident safety.
- Fulfill any other duties as assigned to support the overall functioning of the residential program.
Qualifications :
- To be considered for the Residential Supervisor - 3rd Shift position at Doors to Freedom in Summerville, SC, a college degree is strongly preferred.
- Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED along with one year of related work experience is required.
- You must demonstrate a thorough understanding of and dedication to the mission and core values of Doors to Freedom.
- Successful completion of Doors to Freedom’s onboarding process is mandatory.
- You are expected to complete 14 approved continuing education hours annually.
- Maintaining VSP-HT certification requirements on an annual basis is essential.
- Holding certifications in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and First Aid, Crisis Prevention Intervention, and completing annual training in Principles of Medication Administration, Blood Borne Pathogens, and Suicide Screener Training is required.
- Strong leadership skills, the ability to build rapport with residents, and maintain healthy boundaries are crucial.
- Proficiency in GSuite and Microsoft Office programs is necessary.
- Being detail-oriented, having strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team are important qualities.
