Job Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development Specialist
- Develop and maintain working relationships with community resources and referral sources.
- Develop and maintain referral database
- Contact community resources and referral sources routinely via telephone, electronic means, mail and / or in person.
- Work with Administration on business development; Recruit potential partner sites for psychiatric services through contract
- Work with Administration and third-party marketing organization to assist in the marketing needs of RPA. This may include day to day communication on marketing efforts, attendance in meetings, idea sharing, planning and / or ordering marketing materials, review of marketing content, social media input, etc.
- Ensure RPA marketing materials are disseminated to the community resources and referral resources on a routine basis.
- Gather data and formulate reports, report to Administration on a routine basis.
- Play key role in the implementation of new practice sites, including but not limited to, review practice locations, set up of new spaces, ensure new location is consistent and functioning in accordance with RPA processes and procedures.
- Implement and ensure consistent "branding" at all RPA practice locations.
- Identify community events / sponsorships in each location of RPA practice. Represent RPA at community events.
- Identify, present and / or implement avenues to assist in the business development of RPA.
- Assist in creation, implementation, and maintenance of RPA training program for internal use and / or at partner sites.
- Assist RPA team with employee engagement events.
- Any other related duties as assigned.
Job Specifications
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare business development and / patient recruitment is highly desirable.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.

- Travel will be required for this position; must hold and maintain driver's license and must have reliable transportation / insurance to travel to RPA locations and / or community sites.
- Will be required to work evening / weekend hours as directed / necessary.
