Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for audits and financial analysis? We are seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Senior Accounting Analyst, where you'll play a crucial part in managing and coordinating IFRS audits and ensuring the integrity of financial processes across our organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate audit activities for IFRS audits between external auditors and various internal departments.
  • Interact with external auditors to resolve audit-related questions and issues that arise.
  • Assist with the annual audit process for the Benefit Plans, including preparation of stand-alone financial statements.
  • Prepare, gather, and analyze supporting documents for both external and internal audits.
  • Enhance current project processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, or effectiveness in daily activities and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and internal team members to promote open and timely communication.
  • Support other activities undertaken by the Audit Services team, including audit closing presentations, management reports, and more.
  • Research and document technical accounting issues.
  • Facilitate internal control reviews.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • CPA or in pursuit of the CPA license
  • 2-3 years of public accounting audit experience
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, risk awareness, and a thorough understanding of processes and controls
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at various levels across multiple functions
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
