Job Title : Apprentice Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Apprentice Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will report to the head mechanic and act as a parts runner.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone willing to learn and grow within the company, with the potential to advance to a senior mechanic role.
Responsibilities
- Assist the head mechanic with daily tasks
- Act as a parts runner for the maintenance team
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct preventive maintenance on a variety of construction and automotive equipment
- Work with hydraulics and diesel engines
- Support with diesel and automotive tech maintenance
Essential Skills
- Troubleshooting
- Mechanical and electrical repair
- Preventive maintenance
- Experience with hydraulics and diesel engines
- Automotive technology skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of automotive gas experience
- Preferred experience with diesel engines
- Good knowledge of construction equipment
- Decent mechanical experience
