MRB Engineer
Job Description :
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) with 8 years of Design, Structure, Manufacturing or Quality Engineering in Aerospace compression systems or hot section hardware experience, or 5 years of the above experience with an advanced ABET accredited degree in engineering.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Material Review Board (MRB) procedures to ensure strict adherence and process compliance.
- Conduct thorough reviews and provide technical dispositions for hardware non-conformances, utilizing a high level of attention to detail and precision.
- Assume ownership of technical decisions to guarantee product integrity and compliance, maintaining a continuous commitment to excellence.
- Cultivate and uphold a strong quality image for all customers, demonstrating a dedication to continuous improvement and innovation.
- Provide extensive support across all facets of the manufacturing process, prioritizing safety, durability, and quality.
- Offer exceptional customer support throughout the entire process, ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality.
- Possess a proficient understanding of Engine Manuals and other pertinent technical documents, ensuring accurate and effective interpretation.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to ensure a credible balance between capabilities and requirements, facilitating efficient and effective processes.
Preferred Qualifications :
- 15+ years of aerospace Design or Structural experience
- Demonstrated skill in leading and managing a technical team.
- Experience in using process control / six-sigma and or lean manufacturing tools.
- Strong understanding of production process and ability to make appropriate risk-based decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work alone or in a collaborative team environment.
