- Assist in framing of walls using both metal and wood studs
- Installation, finishing, and sanding of drywall to prepare for painting
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, and trim, or hardware, using carpenter's hand and power tools
- Demolition / Breakdown of existing structures (drywall, studs, flooring, electric, plumbing, etc.)
- Follow the corporate established safety rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Able to accurately comply with the instructions and requests provided by the Project Foreman
- Maintain cooperative working relationships
- Compliance with the company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years experience working as a carpenter or apprentice in a commercial, residential, or facilities operations setting is a plus.
- Framing, Painting and Drywall must be able to hang and finish. Patch work is common on many of our projects and requires bag mud to be used.
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Perform heavy physical labor (i.e. lifting of equipment or materials up to 50 lbs.)
