SMT Operator, up to $19 / hr - Shelby Twp, MI

Qualifications :
- Adjust, set up, and operate SMT machines per job order.
- Operate the line to prescribed production run rates
- Load proper parts into machine and fill solder paste.
- Inspect and test finished SMT products for quality.
- Check and inspect operation against predetermined tolerances.
- Monitor the output of machines to ensure quality.
- Perform maintenance and calibration of equipment as necessary.
Skills :
- Minimum of one year of experience in SMT electronics assembly preferred
- IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of Windows based computers, MS Word and Excel preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
A day in the life at this company for this position consists of showing up and working 3 : 30pm-12am, Monday through Friday.
In this position, you’d be responsible for adjusting, setting up, and operating the SMT machine. You’d be loading / unloading the parts, checking quality, and making sure everything is running properly using the computer based controls.
