A 420-bed regional referral and Level II trauma center in Dothan, Alabama, seeks board-certified / board-eligible Neurosurgeon to join their well-established Neurospine Center treating adult patients.
Job Description
- Clinic is located on the hospital's campus with easy access to OR, ED, etc.
- Staffing currently consists of 2 Neurosurgeons (1 General, 1 Cerebrovascular / Endovascular), an interventional / Vascular Neurologist, NeuroHospitalists, and Neuroradiologists
- Schedule is roughly 40% clinic, 60% procedural ( case mix is roughly 70% spine and 30% general)
- Will have dedicated OR time, so doesn't have to fight with Ortho, General Surgery, etc. for OR time
- Call is roughly 10 days / month (includes trauma and ED calls)
