Connected Health Care is excited to partner with a leading healthcare facility in Marshall, MI, to find a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist for a travel position.

Job Description :

• Assess and evaluate children’s abilities and development to create personalized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to help children develop or regain skills for daily living and school performance.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Utilize play, adaptive equipment, and various therapeutic activities to enhance children’s physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate families and caregivers on techniques and strategies to support the child’s development at home.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Education and Certification Requirements :

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Michigan.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles, practices, and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
