- Write and maintain accurate production documentation instructions.
- Maintains a clean work area.
- May perform preventative maintenance and assists in trouble shooting and preparing standard production equipment for maintenance.
- Assures that production schedules are maintained and followed.
- May facilitate team meetings.
- May assist in setting up work schedules.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge
- Solid knowledge of material logistics.
- Solid knowledge of business system / concepts within the work area such as Demand Flow, Statistical Process Control, Process Documentation, Empowerment, Six Sigma methods, Quality and / or Cost Improvement.
- Able to lead discussion, solve problems and take ownership of decisions.
- Good presentation and training skills
- Ability to write production documentation instructions
Experience Level with Business Tools
- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as : E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
Education and Experience
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of related experience
