We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures on patients using a variety of imaging equipment, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and fluoroscopies.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process to alleviate any concerns
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best images for diagnosis
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in adherence to safety protocols
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of images produced
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of information
- Stay current on advancements in imaging technology and best practices in radiology
Requirements :
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in New York
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures
- Commitment to patient care and safety
