POSITION OVERVIEW
The catering event coordinator must work well under pressure, have previous catering experience, and be excited to join a team to not only maintain our standards of quality and guest satisfaction but will propel our brand and our business to new heights.
This position is accountable for the company’s performance and requires strong organizational and communication skills to drive our commitment to excellent guest service and high-quality dining.
Overall responsibilities include team leadership and motivation, financial management, guest satisfaction and client retention.
Ideal candidates will have a well-developed knowledge of service standards and organic cuisine. We are searching for the right hospitality professional who will not only maintain our standards of quality and guest satisfaction but will propel our brand and our business to new heights.

WORK HOURS
This role is required to work a minimum of 40-50 hours per week. They must be able to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
Scheduling can include nights and weekends depending on events and functions. Some travel may be required.
JOB SUMMARY : To sell, plan and coordinate off site events.
Must have or develop practical knowledge of food preparation and social customs of etiquette, especially in regards to private events and full service catering;
basic knowledge of liquor and wine. Knowledgeable of all proper methods of food and beverage service. Additionally, should have thorough working knowledge of all applicable health, sanitation and licensing ordinances; food handler's card.
- Adhere to all of the various written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc.
- Professional demeanor, language and impeccable appearance maintained by self.

- Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office / general computer literacy.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and facilitate the completion of large administrative projects in a timely manner, including meeting strict deadlines especially on last minute projects.
- Proactive and service-oriented yet easy going personality.
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Have a passion for hospitality.
- Good physical condition in order to lift moderate weight, move quickly and remain on feet for prolonged long periods of time.
- Possess a pleasant personality to effectively deal with guest and employee questions, service execution, and contribute to the overall atmosphere of teamwork.
- Must be keen with attention to detail.
- Well groomed appearance representative of the company at all times.
- Must have the ability to determine expectations, measure effectiveness in processes, enforce quality standards and meet commitments.
- Display strong analytical and organizational skills and have the ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies with positive business results.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a valid Driver’s License, reliable means of transportation and an acceptable MVR report.
- Possess a valid Maricopa County Health Department Food Handlers Card
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 20 pounds.
- The vision requirements include : depth perception, peripheral vision, distance vision and close vision.
