We are seeking a dynamic Category Merchandising Manager for Women's Global Running Apparel. In this role, you will focus on strategizing and managing global 3-year line plans, maintaining seasonal tools and assortments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
You will be responsible for shaping product journeys with a deep understanding of consumer needs, using both data-driven insights and creative intuition.
Key Responsibilities
As a Category Merchandising Manager, you will :
- Strategize, build, and manage global 3-year line plans and product journeys.
- Maintain and communicate seasonal tools and assortments across the organization.
- Develop strong relationships across cross-functional teams, working closely with footwear teams and Women's Global Running Apparel.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to shape product decisions and line strategy.
- Balance the art and science of merchandising to anticipate market trends and meet consumer demands.
- Provide mentorship and direction to teammates, fostering a culture of inclusivity and innovation.
- Lead complex problem-solving and decision-making processes using both qualitative and quantitative insights.
The ideal candidate will have :
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in merchandising, product creation, or retail (experience in sportswear, apparel, or footwear preferred).
- A deep understanding of retail key performance indicators and profit-based metrics.
- Experience in women's apparel merchandising, preferably within running or sportswear categories.
