Pharmacy Technician - Credena Pharmacy

Description

This is an outpatient retail pharmacy located on the Swedish First Hill campus.

Performs all typical duties of a retail. mail order, specialty pharmacy staff technician as defined by the Washington Board of Pharmacy and local pharmacy drug outlet procedures.

Fills physician orders for patient medications under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision. Communicate with and service the needs of the Pharmacy clientele.

Has advanced knowledge and skills in one or more specialty areas in the pharmacy. (Advanced skills include specific certifications such as immunization administration, MTM)

Required Qualifications :

• Washington Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.
• 1 year - Experience (2080 hours) of pharmacy practice
• 1 year - Customer Service
• 1 year - For internal promotion candidate must be competent in all responsibilities of an Associate Pharmacy Technician : (external candidates are required to have the equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications :

• Coursework / Training - Pharmacy Technician Training Program upon hire.
• National Certification / CPhT upon hire.
