The Beverage Lead plays an important role in daily beverage operations team including overall safety, quality, and employee performance of their assigned area.

The Beverage Lead will work daily with the staff to ensure efficient work performance by training, coaching, developing and correcting behavior of the employees.

This is a leadership position that directs the work of all hourly staff and is responsible for the overall performance of the Hourly

What our Beverage Lead will do :

• Ensure adherence to safety standards, GMP, and quality guidelines.
• Foster a safe work environment and promote a culture of safety.
• Uphold food safety protocols and contribute to a culture of quality.
• Establish and sustain a professional work environment.
• Ensure materials and products meet required specifications.
• Achieve operational goals and performance metrics.
• Support machine maintenance and ensure proper operation and cleanliness.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• At shift start : assign tasks, communicate the schedule to employees, and outline work to be completed.
• Submit OEE percentage reports as required via email.
• Monitor breaks and lunches to ensure compliance with designated times.
• Verify and initial shift paperwork as necessary.
• At shift end : address safety and quality concerns, reconcile paperwork, review materials used, and resolve any quality issues.
• Take ownership of and actively participate in personal development.
• Must be available for a flexible work schedule, including mandatory weekends and overtime.
• Assist with and perform COP / CIP processes, including handling chemicals during cleaning.
• Complete chemical handling training.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills & experience that are necessary as our Beverage Lead will include, but not limited to :

• Proficient in basic arithmetic, including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers, and multiplying and dividing by tens and hundreds.
• Capable of performing mathematical operations related to weight, volume, and distance measurements.
• Able to follow detailed, straightforward written or verbal instructions using common sense.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and perform physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Must also be able to lift and / or move up to 25 pounds regularly.

• Frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including extreme cold.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Capable of delivering presentations and leading meetings as needed.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with external partners.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to excel in an unstructured setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Education and Experience :

GED or high school diploma, with one to two years of related experience in operating production machines.
