As a Production Supervisor you are responsible for overseeing and managing daily production activities and operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP / Food Safety protocols, and the SQF System.

This role involves establishing performance standards, verifying results, determining workflow, and troubleshooting problems.

A Production Supervisor Coordinates communication between varied cross-functional areas to resolve customer inquiry related issues.

Acts as the primary liaison between customers, laboratory, production, customer service and marketing. Generates statistical information required.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct employee training and performance appraisals under the supervision of the Plant Manager.
• Collaborate daily with the Production Manager, production personnel, and quality department to meet product specifications.
• Review and verify daily production batch paperwork for accuracy and completion.
• Participate in internal audits and ensure findings and corrective actions are completed and documented.
• Manage contractor and preventative maintenance programs, scheduling services and ensuring GMP adherence and cleanup.
• Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to, playing a critical role in assessing raw materials for conformance and consistency.
• Ensure SHE (Safety Health and Environment) compliance and preform process safety roles as assigned

You bring :

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the food / flavor industry.
• Ability to interpret formulas and processes.
• Strong problem-solving and corrective action skills.
• Understanding of GMPs, quality, HACCP, and SQF 2000 standards.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of food products, processing techniques, equipment, and inspection procedures.
• Prefer prior experience managing a team of production employees.
• Prefer associate or bachelor’s degree in food science or a related field.
