Reporting to the Director of Research, the Early Care & Learning Councils (ECLC) Data Coordinator plays a key role in leading, planning and implementing critical projects to ensure the agency meets its deliverables successfully, on time, within budget and according to scope.
The Data Coordinator is responsible for working with the leadership team to establish checkpoints for staff that reflect the goals of the agency and uphold ECLCs contractual agreements.
The Data Coordinator also leads the administration of data collection and management for ECLCs network of 35 of Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) Programs.
Location : Hybrid, headquarters located in Albany, NY
Responsibilities :
Provide support, training, and technical assistance on a broad range of technological / data issues to the ECLC and the statewide network of CCR&R programs.
This includes building and maintaining the capacity of New York States CCR&R system to use MATCH referral software, analyzing statewide data, generating reports, and submitting timely reports to ECLCs funder (OCFS).
Plan, organize, and facilitate quarterly and annual meetings with various stakeholders, including staff of network organizations across the state and ECLCs software consultant.
Maintain a clear understanding of and support for :
o Internal (ECLC) initiativestracking the goals of ECLC staff across all departments and projects, on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, to successfully support the membership served, and to meet agency contract deliverables.
o External (CCRC membership) initiativesdata collection and responsible for oversight of MATCH database within the CCRC network.
Support leadership and staff in gathering equipment, resources, and information to implement upcoming projects, organizing, and participating in stakeholder meetings and ensuring all deadlines for projects are met.
Requirements and Qualifications :
Degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Program Evaluation, Educational Research, or related field (Early Childhood background a plus).
Experience with Microsoft Excel is required Python, R, or Tableau is a plus.
Experience with tracking and managing multiple sources of data. Utilize systems to locate information, track data and implement improvements to the reporting process and product.
Ability to analyze data and create reports. Exceptional analytical and data visualization skills to tell a story with data.
Comfortable leading meetings both online and in person. Strong oral and written communication skills.
