Walmart's People Product & Design organization is focused on transforming the associate experience through consumer-grade AI-driven digital experiences.
Our mission is to activate Walmart's people-led and tech-powered strategy by building people experiences that serve 2.1 million associates across Walmart US, Sam's Club, Walmart International, and Campus.
Our portfolio spans all aspects of the associate journey, including talent acquisition, talent management, workforce planning, learning, benefits, compensation, associate listening, time and attendance, core HR, payroll and more.
As a Senior UX Designer , People Design, you will employ your depth of knowledge and experience designing enterprise software and digital experiences to make the complex simple, clear, and trusted.

- Ability to define and advocate for a design vision and follow through with a plan on how to deliver against it.
- Track record of shipping high-impact, high-visibility products in a fast-moving and changing environment.
- Lead the design and delivery of strategic digital experiences at a company with a strong design culture.
- Experience leading the product design process and building strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Excellent visual and interaction design skills and a keen understanding of trends in the marketplace.
- A strong strategic mindset and a systems-thinking approach.
- A deep understanding of employee-facing experiences and HR technology.
- Ability to communicate concepts in a clear and compelling way to audiences of all levels of understanding.
- Ability to produce great work in short timeframes and adapt to changing business priorities.
- Deep experience with end-to-journey mapping, facilitating sessions like Design Sprints, and leading rapid concepting and prototyping.

- Owning points of view across your products and initiatives and collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional partners.
- Creating the experience strategy and setting a design direction for your products that deliver on the user needs and business objectives.
- Engaging the design research team at the right points during the design process.
- Rapid prototyping and experimenting in a fast-paced environment.
- Creating scalable, enterprise-wide experiences to deliver both horizontal and vertical best-in-class UX.
Minimum Qualifications...
Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position :
- Bachelor's degree in UI / UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 3 years' experience in UI / UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
- 5 years' experience in UI / UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
Preferred Qualifications...
- Design certification (for example, IDEOU - Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate).
- Driving product development in a user experience area.
- Master's degree in UI / UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area.
- Experience creating inclusive digital experiences.
