It is the primary responsibility of the Media Technology AV Tech to manage, install, configure, and maintain all Media Technology hardware systems and software applications.
This is a hands-on position that requires a team player mentality and involves closely working with staff and managers to support new project initiatives.

THE STARTING PAY : $
THE DAY-TO-DAY :
Install audiovisual and digital signage systems including Wipro Director, BrightAuthor, and Poppulo Content Experience Builder.
Monitor and support all Media Technology systems.
Solve system issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
Solve problems in Mac OS X, Mac iOS, Windows OS environments.
Daily travel to various MGM Resorts locations for installations, repairs, and property walks.
Track and support service requests to provide timely service for customers.
Take ideas and direction from Senior Media Tech Engineers and the Media Tech Architects.
Have good organizational skills to complete tasks.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE :
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
3+ years of prior relevant experience diagnosing and solving problems in Mac OS X / Mac iOS, / Unix / Linux environments, and some background in Windows OS.
Ability to work varied shifts, to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Troubleshooting skills.
Knowledgeable of appropriate file formats, IPTV terminology and basic IT / AV networking equipment.
Understanding of networking environments.
