Our Casino is considered a leading gaming operation in Southern New Hampshire. We are seeking a VP of Information Technology to oversee the IT department.

The VP of IT will be responsible for directing internal MCRS information systems / mainframe to ensure proper function / interplay with all departments.

Ensures reliability, uptime and user compatibility from the Mainframe both individually and through the IT team. Establish department policies and procedures in conjunction with Minimum Internal controls as defined by the Company.

Serves as a member of the property Leadership team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Management and maintenance of data recovery systems, data imaging systems, and RF network connections.
  • Evaluate hardware and software requests and requirements and make recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational and regulatory policies and guidelines.
  • Conduct on-going operational analysis and adjust procedures and equipment to insure the highest possible availability of IT resources to all elements of the organization.
  • Organize and coordinate IT projects as may be required to update and maintain IT equipment and software.
  • Analyze and maintain procedures, methods and operations of various computer-based information systems.
  • Ensure the continuing availability of IT resources through proactive monitoring and management of those resources and their associated hardware, software.
  • Design, implement and recommend local area network information systems to improve the efficiency of casino operations.
  • Ensure proper functioning of information systems / mainframe thus ensuring proper system interplay with all departments.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Must have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified / sensitive information.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Must have New Casino Opening experience
  • Must have Gaming Cybersecurity experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Must have 3+ years of direct IT experience
  • Knowledge of O365 / M365 - Office Applications, One Drive, Microsoft Teams
  • Knowledge of Networking- Layer 2 and 3 networking, VLANS, routing, Wi-Fi, and firewalls.
  • Knowledge in basic operation / support of VOiP Phone systems.
  • Knowledge of the supporting Point of Sale systems.
  • Knowledge in all phases of PC hardware setup, configuration, and routine support.
  • Knowledge in all phases of desktop system troubleshooting, repair, and problem remediation.
  • Must be proficient in basic systems support of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
  • Must be proficient in the setup and administration of Office 365 Administration - Azure AD / Entra AD sync, Exchange Online, and standard domain administration (GPO's).
  • Knowledge in use of various virus control software applications, i.e., Sentinel One, Malware Bytes and email filtering.
  • Knowledge in supporting data communications infrastructures and related hardware / software.
  • Knowledge in support and administration of backup / recovery procedures.
  • Skill in system troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, etc.)
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS :

Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Gaming Agency.
