Description
The MRI Technologist will perform MRI scans for ED, inpatient, and vented patients, primarily using Philips MRI systems. This role requires 3-5 years of experience, variable shifts between Burlington and Lexington, MA, and adherence to strict vaccine guidelines.
Required Qualifications :
- Experience : 3-5 years of MRI experience (Philips MRI preferred).
- Licensure : Active Massachusetts license at the time of submission.
- Vaccines : COVID-19 vaccine with booster and the 2024-2025 flu vaccine are required (no declinations accepted).
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform pre- and post-laboratory procedures using various diagnostic analyzers (Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Banking, and Urinalysis).
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance.
- Conduct quality control checks and ensure analyzers are operational.
- Report and document critical values in accordance with hospital policy.
- Ensure timely reporting of results and prioritize STAT specimens.
- Participate in competency-based testing and ongoing assessments.
Certification : Basic Life Support
