A South Bay retailer is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining lease schedules and month-end close.

To be successful in this role, the Senior Accountant must have great communication skills, be analytical, and have the capability to work independently.

What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 4 years of accounting experience
• Advanced Excel
• Multi-entity or location experience a plus
• ASC 842 experience a bigger plus

What will you do in this Senior Accountant role?

• GL journal entries for month-end close
• Oversee lease accounting schedules
• Develop management financial reporting package
• File sales tax returns
• Adjusting journal entries and AR reconciliations
• Support schedules for the annual financial statement audit
• Ad hoc reporting and analyses
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and maintaining internal controls
