Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician with experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines.
The ideal candidate will handle automation machine tool electrical maintenance, working on a variety of CNC equipment including CNC mills, CNC lathes, CNC machining centers, and robotics.
You will work with over 35 OEM machine brands and handle equipment such as P&H cranes / hoists, conveyors, furnaces, large part washers, ABB robots, and CNC machine tools.
You will also be responsible for repairing CNC and PLC equipment with controllers from brands like Fanuc, Siemens, Modicon, and Rockwell.
Key tasks include troubleshooting and repairing AC / DC analog and digital drives, sensors, cables, wiring, drive faults, encoders, and 480V systems.
You will connect a laptop to machines to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues. The maintenance team uses an MMS system to generate work orders, and you will log all maintenance performed using a company-provided computer / tablet.
Prioritize machinery repairs based on the value stream of the equipment.
Responsibilities

Work Environment
The work environment is a manufacturing facility with a machine shop production setting. It is a heavy industrial environment.
This position follows the AWS Schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) with shifts alternating between 2 days on and 2 nights on.
The day shift runs from 7 : 30am to 7 : 30pm, and the night shift runs from 7 : 30pm to 7 : 30am. During the first 2-4 weeks, candidates can expect to work 40 hours a week on the day shift for training purposes before moving to their assigned shift.
Candidates must be open to both shifts as they will be assigned to their shift following the training period.
