We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Help Desk Administrator in Eugene, Oregon. This role is integral to our team, providing essential administrative and technical support within the IT industry.
The successful candidate will take on a variety of tasks, ranging from handling customer calls to troubleshooting technical issues.
Responsibilities :
- Act as the first point of contact, handling incoming calls and providing support to all levels of technical inquiries
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues for customers, escalating to tier 2 when necessary
- Process and place replacement orders as per the requirement
- Assist in setting up and installing equipment, offering guidance to customers as needed
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and technical issues
- Provide administrative assistance, including data entry and organizing files
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for various administrative tasks
- Play a key role in shipping functions, ensuring all orders are processed correctly
- Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to better support customers and staff
- Continuously work towards improving customer service by identifying potential improvements in procedures and systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in Administrative Assistance is required.
- Ability to provide exceptional Customer Service is a must.
- Previous experience in Data Entry is necessary.
- Strong organizational skills, particularly in Organizing Files, is important.
- Proficiency in Scanning documents is needed.
- Familiarity with Shipping Functions is beneficial.
