Associate Program Manager

Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

Initial responsibilities will be focused on occupiers and their overall program business needs with the overall national business unit being comprised of a single overall national business unit where specialization and geography will be combined under a single financial and reporting structure that will deliver seamless and optimized results to occupiers.

The businesses core focus areas being Food Processing, Manufacturing, Cold Storage, Specialized Distribution and Equipment Decommissioning and Relocations, with future expansion into Retail (QSR, Grocery, Service Centers), Mission Critical and Life Science.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Involvement will include program / project management assignments as part of program implementations end-to-end. The program will include, but not be limited to, business case development, facility planning, due diligence, design / construction management, equipment / racking management, FF&E / IT / Security management in addition to other functions.
• Develop, manage and update project execution plans (program budget and schedule), scope of services / contracts (internal / external), project management reports, site visit reports, owner meeting agendas, owner meeting minutes, design coordination logs, monthly reports, etc.
• Simultaneously manage diverse workload to include multiple projects, along with assistance on additional pursuits in process to aide in individual growth and development.
• Provide support to the sales process, operations, accounting, contract development / administration and customer experience as needed.
• Develop relationships in the specialized real estate industry
• Assist with special projects as needed
• Travel expected to be 1-2 days a week (variable based on client requirements)

Qualifications

1-3 Years of industry experience with preferred background specific to end users or occupiers to include exposure / experience with :

• Real estate development, general contractor / construction experience managing trades directly, project manager or owner’s representative experience (industrial preferred)
• Undergraduate degree (Focus areas of Supply Chain, Technology, Statistics, Real Estate, Design, Construction, Engineering Preferred)
• Attention to detail and an organized work style
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated interest in the specialized commercial real estate industry (F&B, Manufacturing, Cold Storage, Life Science, and Biotechnology Specifically)
• Proficient with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint
• Resourceful in nature and a creative problem solver
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic work environment
