This Machine Operator job offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of one of the largest nut distributors in the country.

In this role, you would be responsible for setting up machine loads, dies, films, and monitoring to make sure the machines are running efficiently.
Machine Operator Responsibilities :
- Sets up machine loads, dies, films, and monitors to make sure it is running efficiently.
- Performs diagnostics and resolves equipment issues as needed.
- Follows work orders, quality control, and sanitation procedures concerning weights, packs, descriptions, dates, UPC, cleanup, and changeovers.
- Performs pre-operational checks, including quality of materials.
- Loads product into the hopper and monitors scales and / or other support equipment.
- Leads machinery changeover (clean, size change, etc.) effectively, timely and with the proper level of cleaning.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area
Machine Operator Qualifications :
This position requires specific in-depth knowledge of complex equipment (e.g., Volpak) and broad, extensive knowledge of various equipment (e.
g., an entire production line)
- Level I power equipment license
- Basic problem recognition and resolution on the line being operated.
- Capable of following directions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
- Ability to train / coach
- Basic computer literacy (to understand QAD and scanners).
- Good manual dexterity, vision, and mobility
- Ability to speak and read English
- Basic math
- Mechanical, electrical, and analytical abilities
Schedule :
4 : 30 pm - 3 am Monday-Friday, and most Saturdays
Pay : $19-22 / hr
