Job Responsibilities :
Required Azure Experience)
The Devops Infrastructure Engineer will design and develop the capabilities of the company infrastructure platform(s) and the automation of pipelines to deploy and manage the platform(s).
In this role, you will be an essential partner and technical specialist for platform development and support
TOP (5) POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES & ESTIMATED PERCENTAGE OF TIME EACH REQUIRES
Develop automation capabilities in the infrastructure platform(s) to enable provisioning of platform services, develop testable code to automate platform capabilities and operations.
Participate in a dynamic development environment to provide evolving customer solutions, create libraries and application programming interface to automate components of the continuous integration delivery platform using appropriate system level language to help automate customer use cases.
Participate in forums and maintain awareness of new trends and recommend new tools or other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (MINIMUM REQUIRED)
YRS EDUCATION
DEGREE
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
MAJOR
Computer Science or related preferred
CERTIFICATIONS : Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Associate and / or Cloud Architect, AWS certifications also a plus
EXPERIENCE /
KNOWLEDGE
Experience building and supporting fully automated platform solutions
Experience with Unix / Linux environments
Experience automating Cloud Infrastructure including Network, Compute, Storage and Data
Experience with CI / CD tooling to drive Infrastructure Code Deployment
Professional development experience with Terraform and working knowledge of Python
5+ years of experience in the design and support of systems solutions
2+ years Azure / Cloud experience, which will include design and architecture, Azure Governance methodology including Dev / Ops, Client, AI and Azure Data Warehouse
Strong project management skills
Experience with the development of operational support processes and procedures
