Electro/Mechanical Assembler

Description

The Otis Service Center Assembly Department is looking for a Electro / Mechanical Assembler for Assembling and wiring of a variety of components.

1st Shift : 7am-3 : 30pm EST

Job Responsibilities :

Position requires assembling parts and sub-assemblies through a variety of electro / mechanical tasks and duties to achieve maximum cell efficiency.

The individual in the assignment will perform Mechanical Assembling, Wiring, and Soldering. Duties include the use of a variety of Hand, Battery, and pneumatic tools.

The Assembly Department is responsible for the Assembly and Wiring of a variety of components and key products required for maintenance and modernization of Elevators and Escalators.

Experience / Qualifications :

• Ability to adhere to the Otis’ Absolutes of Safety, Ethics, and Quality required.
• Ability to work from prints, schematics and process sheets.
• Must be a team player committed to continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated skills in mechanical dexterity, assembly manufacturing, material handling, soldering, and wiring.
• Good interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must be able to participate in annual inventory.
• All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as required.

Education :

Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Trade School Education or 3+ years experience preferred.
