Immediate need for a talented Technician Finance . This is a 06+ Months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Des Moines IA (Remote) .

Pay Range : $14 - $15 / hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan.

Key Responsibilities :

• Credit Check : Due to the fiduciary accountabilities within this job, a valid credit check and / or background check will be required as part of the selection process.
• Assists in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Provides technical assistance in the area of reporting and publishing, data collection, analysis, and research assistance, and report preparation, as well as report and project scheduling.
• Maintains financial information databases and related supporting documentation.
• Performs day-to-day administrative duties to keep track of related functions.
• Assists in all core functions of the team.
• Compiles information for the preparation of financial statements, routine or custom reports and related documentation. Creates clear, concise financial reports.
• Assists with special financial studies as assigned.
• Assists in the preparation of routine financial information and reports for external regulatory agencies.
• Assists management and analysts in research, analysis, creation, maintenance, and distribution of internal corporate reports.
• Maintains procedures, formats, financial records, and information including spreadsheets and files.
• Handles routine administrative work such as billing statements, and budget expense reconciliation.
• Assists in all of the core duties and functions of the work unit.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience :

• Skills-Data Entry ,Basic Accounting ,Administrative Skills .
• Basic familiarity with GAAP accounting practices preferred.
• Undergraduate studies in finance, economics, accounting or related disciplines preferred.
• No experience required with related undergraduate degree.
• Equivalent background acquired through three years of related work experience, in lieu of degree.
• Basic knowledge of financial analysis and financial statement preparation.
• Basic familiarity with GAAP accounting practices preferred.
• Knowledge of basic mathematical and statistical concepts and workflow procedures desired.
• Verbal and written communication skills for internal contacts. Analytical skills and the ability to compile finance information.
• Ability to operate personal computer and related financial and business software.
