Position : Warehouse Person I
Department : Shipping and Receiving
Reports To : Manager
Job Summary :
Warehouse Person I is responsible for receiving, packing and shipping lighting products in the most safe and efficient manner within the guidelines established by manager.
Duties :
1. First thing in the morning, print the previous day’s sales and deduct that from the quantity on the item and verify that the count on hand is accurate.
Report inaccuracies to Operations Manager.
2. Identify product with BULBMAN’s item number from SAP and put away in the assigned bin.
3. Pick up Sales Orders and Transfers from the Sales Department.
4. Run Pick Tickets, pull product from inventory and stage it for packing.
5. If it is a credit card order take Pick Ticket to the Accounting Department for validation of credit card. If there is any problem with the credit card take the Sales Order back to the appropriate Sales Person.
6. Receive the product from the staging area and prepare shipping instructions and create a delivery document for it.
7. Carefully count again the product to be shipped and safely package it.
8. Identify the shipping method and carrier and process the shipping documents.
9. Notify Manager if there are any problems encountered along the way.

In addition to competence in performance of job duties as listed, the following are also considered in evaluating overall performance.
1. Strict attention to detail producing timely, correct and complete entry of part numbers, quantities, and addresses. Accuracy and usefulness of output.
2. Teamwork, positive attitude toward others, and overall commitment and contribution to the success of BULBMAN.
3. Ability to handle work and solve problems independently, within guidelines established by the manager.
4. Contribute to the neatness, cleanliness and general appearance of the BULBMAN facility.
5. Protection of BULBMAN confidentiality, discussing information on a need-to-know basis only with fellow employees, customers, or vendors.
6. Adherence to BULBMAN Policies and Procedures.
