We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team and work in our Fresno clinic! As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain and swelling after an injury or illness.
You will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for individuals of all ages. West Coast Wound is proud to offer a Manual Lymphatic Drainage certification training for our Physical Therapists.
Responsibilities
- Oversee PTAs that are out in the field
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patients' physical condition and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy consisting of MLD (manual lymphatic drainage) and minor mobility exercises.
- Educate patients on treatment and care plan being provided
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience working in acute care settings, such as hospitals or rehabilitation centers
- Proficient in providing patient care across various age groups
- Familiarity with manual lymphatic drainage techniques a plus, but not required as training / certification is provided
