Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is a role where data, creativity and technology meet. The Marketing Coordinator supports initiatives to help the retail company acquire new customers and increase engagement and retention of current customers.
This is a key role in ensuring that marketing strategies are executed according to plan, on time and on budget. The Marketing Coordinator typically wears many hats, and works collaboratively with cross functional teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage communications to achieve flawless execution of direct mail and email campaigns, on time and on budget
- Perform quality control, scheduling, proofing and editing on marketing campaigns
- Execute campaigns, ensuring all messages are on brand with appropriate target audiences and versions
- Support strategic recommendations and insights for the direct mail and email marketing program through analysis of engagement metrics and key sales drivers
Skills & Requirements
- 1- 3 years of marketing and / or advertising experience with a focus on retail and digital marketing communications
- Proven track record in data driven marketing, where data, technology and creativity meet
- Experience with email marketing and / or other digital marketing
- Effective communication skills
- Decisive problem-solving ability with an understanding of how to effectively escalate problems or concerns to management
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word
