Position Summary :
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Pharmacy Intern Langone Orthopedic Center ALTERNATING WEEKENDS.
In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for compounding and dispensing of pharmaceuticals and related items necessary for safe and appropriate patient use of medication orders in accordance with established policies and procedures and under direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist Reviews and monitors medications and orders written by clinicians to determine safety and efficacy compounding sterile products filling automated dispensing cabinets and performing multi stage double checks Other duties include assisting with inventory control patient care area inspections replenishing emergency boxes and ensuring the safe and appropriate patient use of drugs collection of clinical information Performs other related duties and utilizes automated and computerized technology as required Must be proficient in aseptic technique and USP standards for clean rooms Performs other duties as assigned
Job Responsibilities :

Minimum Qualifications :
To qualify you must have a High School Diploma and enrollment or graduate of ACPE accredited college of Pharmacy. Must have a valid NY State Pharmacy Intern permit.
Required Licenses : Pharmacy Intern Permit-NYS

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.
The salary range for the role is $36.42 - $36.42 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
