Mechanical Technician Bryan TX
The Mechanical Technician Bryan TX is an essential team member, providing vital support to the maintenance technician. This role involves performing both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on a wide range of plant equipment and machinery.
By ensuring these mechanical systems operate smoothly and efficiently, the Mechanical Technician significantly contributes to the prolonged functionality and reliability of the plant’s operations.
This position not only helps in maintaining optimal performance but also in preventing potential breakdowns and extending the lifespan of critical mechanical systems within the plant.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in performing shaft alignments, and maintaining and replacing bearings, lubricants, packing, and mechanical seals.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance and repair tasks on heavy equipment, including gas turbines, turbine / generators, industrial boilers, cooling towers, and associated equipment.
- Conduct repairs on chemical storage, transfer, and injection systems, including those for sulfuric acid, chlorine, biocides, and caustic soda.
- Perform other assigned duties such as cleaning rotating equipment, maintaining a clean work area, painting equipment, and general housekeeping.
Qualifications for Mechanical Technician Bryan TX :
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under the guidance of a maintenance technician.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor tasks.
