Ourclient in Hot Springs AR is in search of an experienced Director ofPeople Services within their facility. This position is onsite withup to 20% travel as needed.
Theselected candidate will :
- Formulateand recommend program goals and objectives in all areas of coworkerrelations.
- Developimplement and administer the coworker relations area of thepersonnel program in an effort to improve coworkerrelations.
- Responsiblefor developing an organizational focus of a family friendlyenvironment.
- Identifystaffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practicesfor hiring and talentmanagement.
- Collaboratewith senior leadership to understand the organization s goals andstrategy related to staffing recruiting andretention.
- Superviseand provide direction to subordinate staff engaged in developingand administering the recruitment and selection procedures and thepersonnel policies andprocedures.
- Superviseand provide direction to subordinate staff engaged in developingand establishing inservice employee training and educationalassistance programs to upgrade managerial technical andsupportlevelproductivity.
- Investigateproblems such as : working conditions disciplinary actions andemployee and applicant appeals and grievances according tocircumstances and provides guidance and recommendations for problemresolution to departmental officials andindividuals.
- Prepareand present required and specialreports.
- Developand present the operating budget for the Human Resources Dept. andupon final budget approval assures that all functions operatewithin appropriatedamounts.
- Evaluateor review evaluations of performance on all coworkers; effectivelyrecommends hiring promotion termination disciplinary andcommendatory actions of all assignedpersonnel.
- Superviseand direct onboarding of new employees including determination ofeligibility for hire; directs and updates general orientationprocess for all newemployees.
- Directrecruitment activities including advertising mediums and outreachrecruitment in conjunction with Nursing Administration andAncillary Department Leaders asneeded.
- Providehigh level communication and training to director and manager levelassociates regarding human resources policies procedures andpractices.

Requirements
Musthave hospital / medical center experience.
Mustpossess considerable knowledge of coworker relations : theprinciples practices and procedures of Human ResourceManagement.
Graduatefrom an accredited college or university with major course work inBusiness or Public Administration Human Resource Management orclosely relatedfield.
Mustpossess strong knowledge of laws and regulations relating to HumanResources.
SHRMCertified Professional (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR) ispreferred.
Masters degreepreferred.
