The Opportunity. We are conducting a search for a Primary Montessori guide to lead one of Discovery's Children's House communities for children aged 3 - 6.

Through your efforts, children will fulfill their developmental potential with authentically prepared, inspiring Montessori environment.

Minimum Requirements. Please apply if you meet the minimum requirements and are interested in joining our team.

• Are warm, joyful, professional, and embrace Montessori values as your own
• Have a earned a primary diploma from a MACTE-accredited institution
• Are experienced working with children aged 2½ - 6 years old
• Have valid CPR and first aid certification (or willingness to become CPR and first aid-certified before you begin employment)
• Have negative TB test results within the last 12 months (or willingness to take a TB test which shows negative results before your first day of employment)
• Are a US citizen or green card holder

We are especially interested in candidates who :

• Live in Southern California
• Have earned a primary diploma from an AMI-accredited institution
• Have earned bachelor's and / or master's degrees in any subject
• Have five or more years' experience as a Montessori guide
• Are a fluent Spanish speaker
• Have interesting hobbies, skills, and life experiences
